04.28.09 Bishop Ford vs. Christ the King -Kasceim Graham of Bishop Ford Memorial Pitched Complete Game to Defeat Christ the King at the Brooklyn Parade Ground in CHSAA Varsity Baseball Showdown.
Anderson Mateo had two doubles in the win for Ford. Coach Mike Hanrahan is glad to see the timely hitting and the defense, particularly from his outfield.
Christ the King made matters a lot easier for Graham and Ford, as the Royals committed various errors. Graham got in trouble in the top 4th and 5th innings, bout pulled himself out of it on good defense and bad base running by CTK. He later hit a huge RBI double in the bottom of the six inning.
With his surrounding of assistant coaches, Coach Hanrahan feels confident that his Falcons will be more competitive as the CHSAA Brooklyn/Queens Division A baseball progresses.
