07.10.09 Youth Service Blue Bombers vs. New York Grays -12 Year Old Bronx Team eliminated the Bombers of Brooklyn with good defense and hitting to stay undefeated. They will take on the Stars from Queens on July 11th, at the Brooklyn's Parade Ground, in the 2009 New York City Baseball Federation Playoff. Both teams are undefeated. The eventual winner of the eight teams that participated in the tournament will represent New York City and its' surrounding areas in Springfield Massachusetts in the North Atlantic Regional of the American Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC) to face the best teams from Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, an the rest of New England. Don't be surprise if they will not face teams from upstate New York. The eventual winner will make the trip to Puerto Rico to participate in the 2009 World Series.
