After a long trips, far away from home field, after long, hard fought
defeats, the Clippers managed to come home with a victory.
Packed with X-Men, the
Xaverian High School Clippers unleashed their frustration on
Mount Saint Michael Academy
Mountaineers,
on Saturday, to shut-out last years'
Catholic High Schools Athletic
Association (CHSAA)
AAA Championship Finalist.
What a way to go home, according to head coach,
Joe DiSiena, who
was elated that the losing streak was over and his football team
is finally going home to play at home against Chaminade and
Stepinac at
Kings Bay
Field, in the last two regular outing of the
CHSAA AAA division.
Quarterback, Nadjee Tyler, #7, was dandy in his start, as he
threw for two touchdowns, in the first quarter, alone.
Then, the
defense took over to force numerous fumbles to shut down the
Mountaineers' offence.
