09.24.09 Iona Prep vs. Xaverian -The Iona Prep Gael shut-out the Clippers 5-0 on goals by 27 Tom Marcott, 13 Cesar Ceja, 28 Mariano Rivera, and 10 Jerry Ceja.
Cesar scored two goals in the routing of the Clippers of Xaverian at the Verrazano Complex in Brooklyn.
Iona Prep Head Coach, Marcos Monteagudo, feels that his team is better than they have shown themselves.
The Gael defense shut down the Clippers offense during the whole 80 minutes of the soccer match, affording the Clippers only a single good shot  at Gael goalie, 1 Alex Kapp, who looked bored throughout the game.
Jerry's goal was a direct kick shot that went thru the Clippers goal.
28, Mariano Rivera Jr., the son of New York Yankees greatest closer, scored his goal in the second half.
